Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of buginword.com (the "Site"), operated under the name Bug in Word ("we", "us"). By accessing the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. What the Site provides

The Site is an index of news, articles and research. Entries may summarise, quote briefly from or link to material published by third parties. We aim for accuracy but provide the Site "as is", without warranties of any kind, and entries are for general information only — they are not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

3. Third-party content and links

Links to external websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. References to organisations, products or institutions are informational and do not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement.

4. Submissions

If you submit an article, research paper, PDF or other material ("Submission"), you confirm that you own it or have the right to share it, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that it complies with our rules of posting and spam policy. You keep ownership of your Submission and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, summarise, index and link to it in connection with the Site. We may decline, edit for formatting, or remove any Submission at our discretion.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at abusive rates or gain unauthorised access to the Site.
• Do not submit unlawful, defamatory, infringing, deceptive or malicious material.
• Do not impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.

6. Intellectual property

The Site's design, logo, text written by us and the arrangement of the directory are protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party trademarks and names belong to their respective owners. If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, contact editors@buginword.com with details and we will review it promptly.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or any linked content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when they last changed; continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
